HEAT Partners with Health Department to promote Smoking Cessation in Stay in the Game Campaign!

The Southern Maryland HEAT has partnered with the Charles County Health Department to promote a campaign encouraging teens and athletes to avoid smoking and vaping. The campaign is part of an overall strategy of the Southern Maryland HEAT to help athletes stay strong and healthy in a campaign entitled "Stay in the Game: Health Tips for Young Athletes".

The Stay in the Game campaign will consist of coaches and players spreading the word on athletes exercising good care for their bodies. The program will conduct tournaments, leagues, camps and events to promote to young athletes. Many of these programs will be free!
