15 U Girls have strong showing at the Deep South Classic

The 15U Girls traveled to North Carolina to play in the heralded Deep South Classic. Hundreds of teams from up and down the East Coast and across the country attend the tournament each year for a chance to compete against top talent. Conducted during the NCAA Women's Live Period, players are looking to receive recognition from college coaches and scouts.

Playing against tough competition the 15U girls had a strong showing even beating a 16U team from Georgia. Mind you, while they are playing on a Freshman level, they have a few 8th graders on the team. The Deep South Classic was a great experience for the young ladies as they prepare for the USJN Live Period event in July at the Washington Convention Center.
