About the event
Basketball tryouts for the SMD HEAT Girls Exposure and College Prep travel team. Players will be evaluated through a one and a half our skills and scrimmage session to see if they have the skills to fill a vacant roster spot.
SMD HEAT is one of the oldest travel basketball programs in Southern Maryland. Our program utilizes Sports-based Youth Development to help promote the proper athletic, academic, social and emotional growth of players. Girls in this specific program have a goal of playing college basketball at various levels. Coaches utilize NCAA and USA Basketball curriculum and requirements to help players prepare for college.
